Colette-tions: Pineapples

Pineapples are often considered a symbol of hospitality and so for that reason, I have an abundant collection of pineapples.

While my other collections are housed together - egg cups on one shelf, salt and peppers shakers on other, linens in a closet, etc. - my pineapples are scattered throughout my apartment. I don’t think pineapple is a prominent theme in my decor but if you were to go on a scavenger hunt, you would have much success. 

I do love that pineapples symbolize hospitality but more importantly, I like how they look. I don’t collect things for the sake of collecting, but rather because I am intrigued by the items, because I actually like them. I like to enjoy the things I have.
